Contrary to these past reviews (they seem pretty dated anyways) I actually LOVE this place. It's been my resident nail salon for the past 5 years, they don't really know me by name, but they recognize my face anywhere. Let me be clear while I've been going there for 5 years, I get my nails done on average every month or so, sometimes even 2 months, so I'm nowhere near as frequent as some girls out here.
However, the owners know me extremely well and always treat my mother and I with kindness. She (owner) always advises me on the best tips to keep my nails healthy and what would look good and what wouldn't. It's not about the $$$ here, the service they provide is great. I have a few tech favorites, Jen is my all time. They're very chatty and don't make you feel rushed at all. They're precise and pay attention to make sure they give you what you want. And they're honest when it comes to the practicality of adding on extras.
Love this place!! But I would highly suggest booking ahead of time (especially as prom season approaches). I needed a mani desperately today but they're fully booked, totally my fault. Either way, I don't trust anywhere else to do a good job as much as I trust Akrillix!!
