Huge apology to our waitress, as I forget her name and she deserves a shout out. She was wonderful, gave honest recommendations and knew the menu very well. Seemed genuinely excited to be serving us, which having worked in the industry I doubt highly was the case, but she sold the heck out of it. Really, really great. It's a nice stop. Sharing is what you'll be doing here, so know that going in. The lamb was for me overcooked but flavor was still otherwise where you want it, other handful we tried they nailed it. The calamari, which is a throwaway so many places, was perfect. Well done stuff. That in particular impressed me, it's so easy to do but so bad 90% of places. It proved they care. It's not the peak of the mountain, but it has a nice concept, nice people, and overall quite good food. I don't live in Charlotte and won't be back there without a pistol held to my temple, but if you're there, this is a cute place to spend two hours or so. If I was there it'd certainly get a second visit, probably much more. It was only the two of us, they don't do reservations for smaller than eight. If you got a large group from what I scouted it's an excellent choice, made for it even.
