As Irina Y. pointed out, there are very few Asian grocery stores in Etobicoke generally, never mind South Etobicoke, so when my dad hinted to me that there was an Asian grocery store at Browns Line and Evans where I could get emergency Asian groceries, I was overjoyed! Though not the cleanest nor loveliest retail environment (witness: the "Vegetable & Fruit" section), for all the basics this place has what you need - even the most obscure Asian herbs/spices/vegetables. Prices are decent, particularly given that you are super far away from the main Asian food hubs. The meat selection is dubious to be sure, but if someone can tell me where else to get fatty ground pork that isn't here, I'm all ears!
