This is not at all a fancy gym but for what I was paying per month, it was pretty comparable to the gym I used to go to when I was in school. Prior to LA Fitness, I tried another small, boutique gym that was absolutely horrible due to its lack of stimulating and sweat-breaking workouts (because they clearly catered to a very unfit, older population). LA Fitness Signature's classes are pretty good for the most part. Sometimes the spin classes are a bit boring and lack any sort of variety. There is a pretty good Bootcamp Conditioning class taught by Christine but again, once you've gone several times, it sometimes gets a bit repetitive too. My favourite classes there are ZUMBA - especially the class taught by Sonely. She is like a pixie stick on crack - and you definitely get a crazy, awesome work-out from her!!!! I highly recommend her classes for sure. Otherwise, the gym is presentable and there is a towel service that is great. There's also a juice bar, which I haven't actually tried before. I also do really enjoy the "Women's only" section because you do have lots of privacy and it is more in an enclosed area.
