I really like the Fresh Market, however some things are definitely overpriced. Plus, my problem when I come in here is impulse buys on things that I don't need but look delicious! So I always spend more than I had planned.
They do have a pretty good selection of prepared foods for those times when you are in a hurry & looking for a quick & convenient & somewhat healthy meal.
On Saturday I stopped by to pick up some fish to grill and got a nice piece of sea bass. I also grabbed a prepared side - tortellini salad with cherry tomatos and parmesan. It was ok, but I expected it to have a little more flavor than it did.
As usual when I stop in here, I made one unexpected impulse buy... they had a small red velevet loaf cake that was made with chocolate chips. Hubs and I both thought it was yummy!
I am on the email list so I get emails all the time about their meal-deal specials. I haven't gotten one yet, but I have seen several that sound very good!
