I came to visit from California and this place was somewhere my sister wanted to bring my 6 year old son. Upon arriving we filled out the waivers and waited for someone to help us. The 2 girls that worked up front were very young probably 16, we bought our tickets online and had printed copies. The girl helping us (none wore name tags) has short brown hair. She took a look at the tickets and abruptly left without saying a word. I looked at my sister and then around to where she had gone. No acknowledgement, no explanation just an abrupt departure. She came back saying we got the wrong tickets (ones for 7 and under) and we'd have to pay the difference for the rest of us. Which I thought was fine, I gave her my card and asked where she had gone and what the difference was. She said "oh it's 21 something so I'll charge you 20" I didn't see a paper of how much it was but my son was being impatient and I wanted to get on with it. She then continued with her attitude and didn't even finish our transaction, she had the blonde girl next to her help us. She didn't say thank you, or anything. Working in retail/sales isn't for everyone and age and experience is a factor, but I hope management will educate these young workers that you acknowledge people and say thank you. I work retail and I know that situations aren't always ideal, but I know that a smile and a thank you goes a long way. Now when I'm in town I won't come here. And that's a shame because the place is great just not really the staff.
