With a dear friend visiting who hasn't been to Charlotte in the past 15 or so years, I decided it would be fun to head up to the center of the city to show what is new and exciting in Charlotte these days. After walking around for about an hour, we decided to go to the Epicenter to have a beverage or 2. We ended up sitting on the patio at Blackfinn. Our server was super sweet and very helpful (wish I could remember her name so that I could give her a shout-out!).
The only downside for us is that we were trying to get a spot out in the sun on the patio, but because of the buildings, everything was shaded (a common problem for most places in the Epicenter.) They have an ok selection of beer & wine.
