I've stayed here for a total of 5 weeks this year. I am mostly a fan. 1. The positives: Friendly staff, complimentary breakfast, welcome home happy hour (with beer/wine!) and munchies (warm baked cookies, popcorn), wireless Internet access, very basic gym, mini pool and hot tub, shuttle services for local businesses. The location is just off hwy 422, and close to a theater and a couple restaurants. The rooms have nice new TVs, basic cable and most are set up as apartments with cooking facilities and refrigerators. There is also a PC set next to the lobby if you don't have your own laptop or printer. Parking is no problem; free here and you don't have to register your car. 2. The negatives: There is precious little insulation in the walls and you hear your neighbors through the bathroom wall and through the front door. It can be disturbing. I have also had the cleaning staff leave my door ajar after they have cleaned and my belongings were not secure while away all day. I have talked to others having this happen to their room as well. You can see that the positives outweigh the negatives. This Homewood is better than other Homewoods I've stayed at.
