Great acoustics and an intimate setting where anywhere you stand is within close proximity to the stage. Love that they have several large bars so no waiting in line for drinks. And.... super reasonable alcohol prices! A large row of bleacher seating lines the back wall so people wanting to sit have opportunity to do so.
I read reviews on Yelp about their Mexican food, served up front in an open air style restaurant. The food was absolutely excellent! We brought two starving college students with us so after they ordered six things between them, we were able to sample a decent part of their menu. Highlights are their guacamole, Sonoran hotdog and baked nachos were all highlights, two types of salsa amazing with excellent spice. I googled the restaurant menu to remind myself of the many dishes the kids ordered, and found out the restaurant is Concina 10 - started by chef Chris Bianco - which all makes sense now as to why the food is so outstanding. Chris also started Pizza Bianco in Phoenix, which has been recognized by several food writers as the best pizza in the United States.
This was my first visit to Crescent so definitely will be back to see more bands in this space, and also be back to dine there more often.
A final comment for concert goers under 21.... this is a great venue to get up close with the artists! The under 21 section opens up right up to the stage and even though the show we saw was sold out (Alex and Sierra), there are far less people in the under 21 section so a lot of standing room and stage access.
