I started to go here after the retirement of the guy who fixed shoes for me & my family for over 40 years. I asked him for a suggestion who to use & he told me about this shop run by his nephew. I figured he had a good teacher for all or part of his training, so I had a good vibe.
Not surprisingly, I've had no regrets with the two repairs I've had on walking shoes that I put a lot of miles on. I had the heel area on the bottom replaced on these + a repair to the heel area inside the lining that tore-out. Both pairs were done well & by the time promised. The price seems about par for the course for such a repair. Additionally, the shoes are cleaned-up along with the requested repair.
The shop is located just off Rt 28 at the WaterWorks exit in Aspinwall/Fox Chapel. There's plenty of free parking in front of the shop. Payment in advance is required.
