I had called last minute and managed to get a 6:15 appointment. My appointment was with Emily. She informed me she would be late, which I didn't mind since I called with such short notice.
At one point during the session I commented on her darling son in the photo on the stand. She made a "too bad I won't to get to see him since I worked so late!" After talking about how I didn't want blunt layers and I'd once had before, that's exactly how they came out. She tried to give it some style but it didn't do much.
3 stars because the rest of the staff was unpretentious as promised, and Emily recommended some great product (though hella expensive, so I'm sure she makes something for up selling). Really it would be 2.5 for her, because I shouldn't have to get my own shears and fix my layers.
... but my dear if you don't want to work late then don't schedule another appointment. Lesson: if you're told Emily is your stylist for the day, better avoid seeing her later than 6 pm.
