I work across the street from The MINT and was super curious about it once I saw the sign go up. The sign alone is something I think will draw people in. We only came in to have a couple of drinks on a night of bar hopping. Overall, I really liked my experience here. The bartender greeted us with a handshake. Who does this anymore? It felt personable and even though I usually try to avoid personal contact with strangers, he made me feel comfortable. They didn't have Bombay Sapphire, which I thought was a little odd but the drinks were strong and the lime was fresh (you wouldn't believe how many places have old yucky limes). The bathroom was clean. Yes, when I go to bars I judge the bathrooms. This one was A-OK! It was Saturday when we went and there was a "band" playing. I thought they were ok. Some of the covers were kind of weird but hey I can't sing so there's that. I'd defintely come back, especially on salsa night. Seems fun.
