Ok, I was in a BIATCHY mood. And I NEEDED ice cream.
So I decided to check out the local DQ. Planned to buy a cake and eat it all tonight. As well as a treatza pizza and blizzard, maybe a few dilly bars too. When I binge eat, I go all out.
Found it, drove in to the parking spot (yes, there *is* a parking spot, for 1 star for that).
But had to stand outside shivering in the cold at the walk-up window because there is no inside to this DQ. Furthermore, there was a van full of childrens getting ice creams in front of me. They took FOREVER.
Then, as I was spacing out in the cold, I noticd the big 'CASH ONLY' sign in the window. What the H??? How can a DQ be Cash Only? Ridiculous!
I had to go into my car and dig to find my emergency $5. Thank GOODNESS I hadn't spent it on crap already.
So, was only able to get one small thing, and no exotic cakes, Dilly bars, pizza, etc. I don't even think they had pizza treatza's there. I know they had cakes, though (although I couldn't see them because there was no display freezer because there was only a stupid walk-up window).
But how can such an establishment not accept plastic cards? This is the 21st century. Cash only is lame and for shady businesses that avoid the tax man.
Please, DQ on Parc, get some technology.
I gave this place another star because at least there is a DQ there and someday I'll return to get a crapload of cakes to binge on. And I will remember to come loaded with cash.
