My daughter became interested in horse riding about a year and a half ago. After speaking with several friends and searching online, we decided to take lessons at Crossroads. We knew nothing about riding horses coming for the dance world. From day one Joanne, the trainer, took the time to explain everything we would need know. The lesson were an hour but lasted about an hour and half. We didn't immediately jump on a horse and ride. She took the time to explain proper horse care , how to place all the items on the hose and of course proper riding technique. We take lessons 1x a week and she competed in her first show in May 2017 . She placed 1st and 3rd!
During the summer they offered pony camp and my daughter fell in love even more with riding. They had activities, riding, water play and snacks.
Haley has also been our instructor , when Joanne is on vacation and we enjoyed her as well.
The patients and knowledge that Joanne and Haley have shown our daughter is beyond amazing.
