Let me break down Open Cork for people that might be a bit confused by it... - the service is slow, a lot of waitresses speak broken English and yes, it'll take for fucking EVER to get your food and sometimes even your drinks - don't even try bothering with reservations - the owner Peter is awesome and he's there EVERY DAY and NIGHT - the food, once you get it, is amazing - the bar area is awesome - dining area is a little old fashioned - the patio is fucking AWESOME!!!! this is the place to be in the summer I'm here about 3/4x a week (even if I want to just go grab a coffee) - family friendly? maybe inside the dining area during lunch or something - NOT on the patio (it's a very European place, every single person smokes) If you don't mind lounging around and waiting a bit longer for food while enjoying drinks, smokes and good company, Open Cork is for you. It's a VERY European style place (even in terms of attitude, etc...) so if you're not used to it, don't bother coming.
