What a disappointment this place turned out to be---and we weren't in the market for a car! Got my 2009 Sonata on the east coast and after moving here, took my car there a few times and were initially very pleased with the service department and the fact they honored our old coupons from back east. However, after a small accident over a concrete block at work two years ago, I discussed having a small crack fixed in my bumper. My husband and I went there late Sat afternoon to make an appt. as they had a body shop they work with and already gave us a ballpark estimate a few months back. The salesman was standing outside and we asked only about the service dept and when he realized we wanted to repair the bumper he immediately started HOUNDING us about trading it in and he could put me in a brand new car!!! We went over to just take a look but advised him nicely that we weren't in the market for a new car right now and I just paid it off and it has low mileage, not to mention my husband is out of work. None of this phased this obnoxious salesman--he just kept going on and on and when we left, he came running over to tell us he would give us cash back!!! We are now looking for another body shop and we have a great mechanic we have found. Since my car is out of warranty, I have no reason to go back to Henderson Hyundai after Saturday's incident was the biggest turnoff EVER in car dealerships. By reading some of these reviews, its not rocket science---if you PRESSURE a customer, they will start off on the wrong foot and the customer's feet will be sprinting over to another dealership and they will lose the sale they never had a chance at getting!!! I bought my car back east at a nice Hyundai dealership ---it was the first place we went to and said we were shopping around and the guy let us go and gave us his card--and a week later we went back to him because he treated us NICELY and let the car sell itself---and gave us a good deal to boot. We were happy with the service dept. here but this salesman ruined it for us...would rather drive further when we are ready to get a new car then go back here again.
