The High Roller is such a great way to fully see the majority of the Las Vegas Strip. I came here during the day with a friend of mine, and there's a series of different stages you have to pass to fully ensure that you have tickets to be able to enter the ride. I thought this was a great way to fulfill maximum security for the ride, so I appreciate that. The only thing I didn't appreciate on my way to the High Roller was the blinding photo taking that the employees make you take before you enter the ride. You stand in front of a green screen and wait as they snap your picture twice with a high quality (BLINDING) camera technology system. Personally, I believe this should be optional for those who want to purchase them at the end of the ride for $35. For those who don't, tons of film is wasted, and it's very inconvenient for the environment in my opinion. When we got into one of the pods, we were only with a few other people, which was awesome because I thought that we would be in a capsule with 10+ other riders. But we had enough room to physically run around the capsule, which was convenient, especially if one of us saw a photo-worthy moment to capture. The ride lasts approximately 30 minutes. The top of the High Roller, of course, is the best because you can fully see all of Las Vegas in a 360° panorama. Next time, I would definitely go at night so I can capture what Vegas looks like with all of the illuminating city lights.
