Booked an appointment ahead of time. They were quite accommodating as I called in around 4pm, for an appointment at 5:30pm.
Once I walked in, greeted by their reception, and filled out a basic form.
Decor is neat, it is quite spacious for a salon and the chairs are comfy.
Hairstylist was Kanako, who was very helpful in determining the hair style and advised on how it should look. She is professional and engaging during the cut, making sure everything was going well. If there were things that I didn't like, she would fix it on the spot, no complaints.
Before they start the cut, they do a wash with shampoo. Afterwards, they apply wax to style it so you have an idea of what it looks like. Then they wash with shampoo again. Then blow dry and style again (if you like). I think it's better this way, in case you're on your way home and don't need it styled again so they style it once before washing it so you still get a chance to see the results.
For $30, it's a good value for the level of service they provide. Their senior stylists costs $35 and master stylists costs $40. I personally probably won't pay that much, but $30 sounded reasonable and in line with what I usually pay.
If it's your first time, you get a 10% discount, call ahead and ask. Otherwise, private message me and I can refer you for additional discounts. Since this is quite close to where I live, I will most likely be going back!
