I stopped by craving poke and left hungry I sampled 4 different fish options and all had a citrus taste to them. Not like fresh lemon or lime but more along the lines of ceviche or marinate. (Made me think they were trying to make the fish have a longer shelf life) Maybe that's a thing, I've only been to places where it tastes like the fish it is. I was excited they had a few more options than other poke spots but upon sampling wasn't impressed. The guy working was VERY positive and ENERGETIC so a hidden 5 stars for him. However, I felt awful when I faked a phone call to my "out of town mom" just to spare his feelings. I stepped outside to talk to "her"and left... I drove past my house to ahipoki and got my fix. I was sad since the reviews here are so positive but def not my thing. Now with other FAB poke spots popping up, I don't feel like I have to give it a second try.
