Like most here us Canadian boys found out about Big Jim's on Diners, Drive In's and Dives and have been here a few times over the years. It's all it is cracked up to be... an awesome little dive bar and restaurant tucked away in a neighborhood that you would never find if not for the power of the Food Network.
The sandwiches are massive and delicious (I had gone with the veal parm both times in the past, opted for the chicken parm hoagie this time and wasn't disappointed), the fries are cut and cooked fresh, the place reeks of history, the staff is awesome and the beer is cold. What else does a guy need?
