Found Monta Ramen on Yelp and had to check it out for lunch based on the rave reviews. The reviewers were correct. Possibly the best ramen I've ever had.
Monta Ramen is pretty much a dump. And it's impossibly small too. There was a line at lunch, but it moves fast because they serve you quickly with their small menu, and you down the food fast because it's so good. Service was friendly and efficient.
I went with the standard pork ramen with egg and dried seaweed. Didn't need the seaweed. The ramen was delicious. I also tried some of the fried rice, which was just OK.
I can tell from the ramen how good the food is here. I'd come back here in a heartbeat for more ramen.
Because of the line of hungry diners, go inside and sign up on the clipboard at the hostess station to get into line.
