I was very excited headed down there today with my deal done via phone. I only went to Courtesy Chevrolet because they had the exact vehicle i wanted, trim level, manual transmission, etc. All that was left was to go down there, sign paperwork, & I'd be out the door with my new car in less then an hour! Upon arrival the car we spoke of is actually in a different state, but it could be transported for an additional fee and could take up to a week. I was fine with that considering i would be getting the car i wanted, but then they asked me what my 2nd color choice was? They insisted they had several other cars on premise to choose from and choosing theirs would save me the extra fees & i could still take home a new car today. I said silver, but now none of theirs are a manual transmission and they pressed nobody drives manual transmissions anymore & the automatic increases the resale value, pressuring an automatic is ok, right? I told them I'd like to drive one before i decide. Now there are no more 2017 models, only 2018, so my whole deal we set up via phone we need to start over, but they said Chevy has some great incentives & their dealership has been around for 60 years, so they would make the deal very worth my time. I never took a test drive, my trade dropped 11k in value and their 2018 went up 13k in value. They made all the theatrical motions they worked really hard to get me the best deal possible, showed me a paper with so many scratches and numbers on it, but it boiled down to I would be financing a 23,000 MSRP vehicle for right around 40k across 8 years. After interest, title, fees and taxes I'd be paying close to 56,000, my payment at right about 500 a month, 500 down, as long as my credit score was over 700, i was approved. I acted totally hysterically excited, wow, what a deal! They tried EVERYTHING to get me to sign it, but I insisted I needed to take my trade home & clean it out & get my checkbook, but I'd be back in 1 hour. I will never return & posted this instead. The truth is they would have taken my car for free, the amount financed would pay both cars off (mine and theirs), i mean literally what a despicable representation of American cars! I realize we all need to make a living, but to totally rip off your fellow man & customers, I think this place should be investigated. Lots of negative marks & comments against this place. Go elsewhere, no bueno, , ??, nicht gut
