Went in for the first time since moving to noda in January. It was lunch time, but there were only about 3 two tops seated total. Being a server myself, I know even just a few tables can be busy when you're alone on the floor. (it seemed there was 1 server for lunch today) The restaurant was clean (although we opted to sit on the patio). Our server seemed very disinterested in being there or taking our order. I asked for the calamari first as an appetizer (when he finally came back to the table). My fiancé and I both ordered sandwiches as our main meals. It took roughly 20 to 25 minutes to get the food out, which would have been fine had the calamari not arrived along with our sandwiches. The whole reason I'd ordered an appetizer was because I was hungry and knew it wouldn't take long to cook the calamari. But, no, all came at once. The calamari was very soggy (greasy), as if it hadn't been drained after frying or hadn't been cooked long enough, and it came with a pomodoro sauce that was runny and looked so very watered down . The chips that came with the sandwiches were cold and stuck together. The corned beef panini I had was pretty tasty. The server appeared one more time to ask if a box was needed and run the check. Very disappointed in the experience. Poor service, greasy food, no known lunch or drink specials.
