I used to love this place. Unfortunately, it has seriously gone downhill since my last review. It's obvious that the people who work there now just don't really care about their product and service. The espresso drinks are bland and flavorless. The last few times I have visited, there seemed to be a dark cloud hanging over everyone who worked there, but the most recent visit was just downright awful. The barista who took my order was very curt. The wait was a little longer than usual (i work in service too; I understand that things can get a little busy and slow down), but there was no apology for the wait and it wasn't even that busy. I ordered a latte with a blueberry muffin. I got my latte with a pumpkin chocolate chip muffin. I went through the drive-thru and was in a hurry so I just kept what I got. The muffin was clearly quite old and stale. The latte tasted like hot milk with coffee-flavored hot water in it. It was not good at all, and a huge waste of money at nearly $5 for just the coffee alone. The barista who took my money just seemed like I was bothering her by even being there (it was mid-afternoon, so nowhere near closing time). No thanks or "have a nice day" or anything. It's really a shame, but after this last visit and what seems like a steep decline over the last year or so, I really doubt I'll be back.
