I've been craving Godiva chocolate for a few months now, so when I saw that there was a location within the hotel I was staying at (the Venetian) I was elated!
I did a round through the store so I could get an idea of what I wanted to purchase. They had an abundance of beautiful freshly dipped fruit and a very long line. So I decided to wait until I was ready to go back to my room before making the purchase so I wouldn't be walking around the strip with fruit.
The store didn't close until midnight but I still had to make a mad rush back at the end of the night in order to make it in time. I felt a bit guilty of walking in at exactly closing time but the gentleman closing the store was so kind and inviting. He took his time with us to pick out fruit, build a box, and look up our rewards program. He didn't rush us at all and spent time describing the new pieces to us.
We got a banana kabob, chocolate covered strawberries, chocolate mixed berry cup, a custom box, soft serve ice cream, as well as some other pre packed treats. Everything tasted fresh and delicious.
But the bottom line is I'm *seriously* impressed with the wonderful customer service!!
