Came here late on a week night for a drink and snack. The service was great and the food surprisingly good. I'd recommend checking it out if you find yourself in this part of Montreal.
We walked into the dark bar/restaurant to find about a dozen people scattered in small groups throughout the restaurant. It wasn't dead, nor was it packed. It was just right. The music was a little loud, but we could still have a decent conversation.
The waiter was really friendly. He couldn't find us an English menu though, so we kind of guessed at what was in the cocktails. They have wine, beer and cocktails. I ordered the rose gold, which turned out to be pretty good.
We shared a large bbq nachos and the vegetarian appetizer plate that came with hummus, olive spread and bruschetta. The food was surprisingly good. The nachos were perfect in the sense that it had everything I wanted: chicken, bbq sauce, corn, cheese, tomatoes and peppers. I don't like beans, so thankfully there were none of those. The vegetarian appetizer plate came with these little slices of toast that were the perfect crunchiness.
Great food, drinks and service! If only it were a little lighter so I could read the menu and a little less loud so I didn't have to raise my voice to talk to my friends, this place would be perfect!
