All I have to say is "Are u effing kidding me?" I called the Phx police dept yesterday evening around 6:30, to request a well check on an apt complex where I know there was a BAD situation brewing. I explained to the dispatcher that someone I know ( a family member ), was tweaked out on meth sitting in his truck waiting for his brother to come out of the apt where a known drug dealer lives with her 10 year old child at that. A few hours earlier my relative in the truck had called to say he's going to shoot his brother when he comes out of the apt. I was worried as everyone's all doped up and crazy. Long story short, I'm sure the story I told the dispatcher sounded like a Jerry Springer episode, cuz she HUNG UP on me! That's right, click was all I heard after she told me to have the brother in the apt call 911. I said he doesn't even know he's being stalked, how/why would he call 911? It was then I said "ok, so I guess a shooting has to take place before cops come out"?
Wow. Wth are well checks for anyways? Did she not hear when I said there's a kid living there with drugs? Did she not hear about one brother wanting/ waiting to shoot the other? Anyways, this has made me think the police doesn't care. Pretty sad.
