I went to Carl's Jr for lunch the other day and was pleasantly surprised. I had been to one in California and didn't think it was that great. This experience was different.
The store is very clean, and the staff was very friendly. While I was there staff checked in on me, and even offered me a fresh biscuit for free. I had a five star burger-I think that's what it's called- whatever their cheeseburger is. It reminded me of a better version of a BK burger, plus it was huge. I had hot, crispy French fries and a chocolate shake. I would have liked the shake to have more chocolate flavour, but that is nit picky.
The only downfall is the price. Almost $13 for a fast food meal is steep, and I thought a&w ($9 for Papa burger combo) was overpriced! I'm definitely going back..I was going to go today but looks like they aren't open Sunday's? Weird. Anyway, I'm surprised at the poor reviews! Good experience overall.
