WARNING! Your personal information is NOT SAFE with this company, or at least that is what Timothy, the technician (don't know if he's an owner or employee) threatened when he and I had a disagreement on the telephone while he was working on my laptop. My machine was working fine with the exception of an error message the started very recently about the cooling system which eventually (after a week) became more frequent, and then shut my computer down, so I took it to "FRIENDLY COMPUTERS". Timothy called me and said that he fixed the overheating by blowing out the fan and heat sync, but that my machine was "overloaded with spyware" Which surprised me, since I used it 10 to 12 hours a day without any problems until the aforementioned cooling system warning, and I keep McAfee and Malware Bytes running on my computer, he said he "can't even open a browser without hundreds of porn redirects popping up, making it impossible to use" and this obviously gave me pause, since this had NEVER happened to me before, the only thing that had previously happened was my grandson getting a browser hijack ONE time when he didn't scan a file he downloaded for Minecraft. When I questioned why this hadn't happened before, Timothy started raising his voice and acting very strangely, then I started getting heated and raised my voice back and said I just want the (expletive deleted) thing back working the way it was without the overheating! When he said, and I QUOTE. "IF YOU WANT TO CUSS AT ME I WILL EXPOSE YOUR PERSONAL INFORMATION TO THE WORLD, EVERYTHING ON THIS COMPUTER, IS THAT WHAT YOU WANT, CHARLES?!" Any computer professional that will even threaten to expose your personal or private information that is stored on your personal computer should never be allowed to work on a computer again. If he owns the place, it should be boycotted by privacy rights groups, this is a dangerous precedent to set for someone I. INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY.
