I finally decided to try an alternative to the common box and coil spring mattress. Amerisleep had a generous return policy and some of the best reviews of foam type mattresses. However, I could not adjust to the different characteristics of the foam bedding. It seemed to be too soft when moving around, and too hard when laying still. I plan to stick to the box and coil spring mattress types.
