Barreworks are the OG's of barre fitness in the city and it shows. They have been in business for 6 years and have a consistent high standard of instructors, excellent facilities, friendly staff, and great special events. Years ago, they offered barre and spinning, but now they just focus on barre which is great. Plus, they are always keeping things fresh with new classes like glide barre (using those circle glider things) or barre boxing. They are also great at collaborating with other businesses for special pop-up classes, e.g. restorative yoga with Saje, hair braiding workshops. They also do a charity donation class once a month. Reserve your class early as the popular ones fill up fast. My favourite instructors are Paulina and Rachel, but honestly I have not had a bad class here. They give lots of options to ensure everyone is challenged and the classic mixed level class is really a full-body work out with upper, lower body, core, and cardio all rolled into one! They have lockers, showers, and provide towels and basic toiletries.
