After browsing through some stores in West Towne Mall, I deemed it necessary to make a pit stop in Godiva before hitting the road. While I initially planned on just grabbing a chocolate truffle of some sort, I couldn't resist the ice cream machine I spotted resting on the back counter. My hesitation was quickly assuaged by the girl working the shop that day. She guaranteed that this would be some killer ice cream.
As I bit into my dark chocolate dipped waffle cone of double dark chocolate ice cream, I knew I had found gold. The ice cream was rich and creamy, as was the chocolate coated cone. I still think about this dear treat I graced my lips with months ago, and to think this heavenly concoction stemmed from a shop in a mall. Yes it's Godiva, but in a mall nonetheless.
I will be making a trip back to West Towne mall not for shopping but for this cone, and you should too.
