My husband and I moved to the Las Vegas area from a much smaller community where we both had amazing doctors who really seemed to take their time and care about us as individuals. Finding that same sort of care here was a challenge. I've been to a primary care doc that arrived into the exam room 40 minutes after the nurse left and literally kept one foot pointed toward the door the entire visit the first time I saw her (subsequent visits were slightly better, but not phenomenal, by any means), a dermatologist whom I felt like was more interested in selling Botox injections than my family history of skin cancer and an Ob/Gyn who was highly rated here on Yelp, but I had to wait months for a first appointment with (she was nice, but not THAT nice). Then we heard about Turntable Health via a mention from The Downtown Project. We were intrigued. Had a tour and were impressed enough to sign on for the practice at the rate of $150/month on top of our health insurance. We then decided to switch insurance at our next open enrollment just to be on a plan that covered membership (NV Health Co-op) so we could be members of Turntable Health without the extra fees. I've seen both doctors and they both are amazing people. They really take the time to sit and talk with you, understanding every aspect of your health history and even your lifestyle. That in itself is enough to warrant the membership, but what got me to write this review, because I'm a busy person and don't always take the time to give credit publicly, is that I witnessed my doc and health coach bust their butts to get me in to an appointment with a specialist in short order because of a concern and my limited availability. I even got an email from my health coach late in the evening checking in with me to make sure I got what I needed. I love how so many things that might not be handled by your usual primary care practice are handled right on site, at no extra charge. The care I received yesterday equals that which I received from my previous small-town doc and that is something I thought I'd never see again. Thank you, Turntable Health!
