"Based upon Reviews and Price we expected more."
We'd had a long day walking and wanted somewhere quite close to our hotel at Place d'Armes. Quattro had decent reviews and was a block away plus we called and could get in without a wait.
If rating the food only i might have given the restaurant 3.5 or 4 stars. We had
Pappardelle-Tomato and cream sauce, Mozzarella de Buffala, prosciutto and fresh basil although my wife said that they skimped on her prosciutto
Linguini allo Scoglio -White wine, garlic, chili pepper, seafood and fresh parsley . Lots of seafood and variety in this dish more than you usually get .
However restaurant was pricey even considering we were in old montreal. At these prices food should stand out not be a check plus. If you have an upscale italian restaurant you enjoy at home eat there and try somewhere else in montreal with local flavor .
Service was poor to spotty and the decor neither elegant or intimate.
