Rip Off Scam Artists!!! Just went in for a simple Lyft inspection. I was told that my car would fail because the brakes were bad, and he had an estimate for $595.00. I told him that I had just gotten the car serviced 3 weeks ago at the Kia dealership and my brakes were fine. I showed him the Lyft form and asked him where it asks for the brake inspection; he asked me where I got the form. I told him I just printed it off the Lyft site; he then told me it has to be an old form and is wrong. He then charged me $23 and gave me my receipt. I told him I wanted a copy of the Fail form they had. He gave me a blank form that has "Rasier" up in the corner where the Lyft name should be. I told him I wanted it filled out and signed...he didn't want to sign it so he had some other guy look at it and sign it..scribbled a signature that is not legible...guess they don't want the authorities to knw who is scamming and who isn't. Be very leary about this joint...I know they are ripping off the retired folks; here for the winter; that are bringing their cars in for service
