I am a current patient at the 59th Avenue location, however, my son is not. I've provided all of my son's information previously (he's 9) to them so that he could be seen and established, and the only thing keeping him from being an "established patient" is physically walking in the door one time. Turns out this "family practice" does not have any pediatricians at all. I attempted to have him seen this past weekend for daily vomiting b/c I can't afford an $8000 ER bill. B/c he wasn't "established" they refused to see him and would not double-book the appointment. They would have double-booked so that he could be seen immediately if he were an established patient. Then, when I tried to schedule him for a regular appointment in a couple of weeks, they asked who I would prefer he see. I stated a Pediatrician, since I've taken him to two Urgent Care facilities this week and they both stated that I needed a Pediatrician specifically. They don't have any at that location. I asked if there was someone they knew that had a Pediatrician open on the weekends, or any of their other locations... "Um... I don't know. I'm not sure." was the response. Don't expect your kids to be seen. This is not a family practice. This is an adult only medical practice facility. Dr. West was great when it came to removing my benign tumors on my head. Just wish they had a Pediatrician and seemed to care more about the health of children... :( Sad...
