The hotel is recently freshened up, at least the floor I'm on, and has a nice decor mix of modern with the 20s Tudor style of this old same of a hotel. The breakfast area is a gorgeous vaulted space with detailed wood paneling and a fantastic wall of windows. I can see how a wedding reception would be really nice here. The room is actually quite small this time, but usually when I'm here I get a bigger one. The finishes are nice, not super new, but nice. The room is NYC hotel room sized and would be tough for even two to share as there truly isn't much space to put any toiletries, but the bed was very comfy with the typical nice doubletree linens. Proximity to Cleveland clinic and Case University Hospitals make this one a winner, and is half the cost of the Courtyard Marriott and a third of the Intercontinental down the street. Parking is a tad pricey at 20/night but that's not completely unheard of. There are a lot of great places to eat nearby, so skip the hotel restaurant which is meh, but otherwise this is a solid choice.
