I want to let you know of my experience with directv the last couple of years. I have been a customer since 2011, never missed a payment, and paid on time. I had enjoyed my experience until about a year ago. I recommitted to my agreement in 2015. I was promised a rate of $85 for 2 years of my commitment. One year later my payment increased $40 to $125. I called to find out why and was told the original price was only for a year, which is not what I was told on the phone. At that point I decided fine I'll suck it up for a year feeling disgruntled. I then moved in March to a new house. Called for an appointment to move my equipment and was never told it would then renew my agreement. Which I found out today, and they said they emailed me about it... instead of telling me and warning me prior to the service. So today I now found out I am stuck another year in a contract I was not promised originally, and not being informed about new agreements to the contract. I have to say I am extremely disappointed after being a customer for such a long period of time. The customer service has gone extremely down hill. I will not recommend anyone sign any sort of "agreement" with directv.
