While some of the reviews "knock" this place, I really disagree as we were friendly greeted, quickly accommodated, and finely served. Plus, the food was top-notch - which is what you want, right?
Our waiter was more than happy to meet our time constraint needs to make our show at nearby Heinz Hall - so drinks, apps, and child dinners got to the table swiftly and full of flavor. The adult entrees arrived shortly thereafter and were both delicious and well portioned. While there is a small menu, it was still difficult to choose our grub as most items looked pretty darn good. All said, its good eats in a vibrant atmosphere. Just vibrant enough to squeeze in a second cocktail before scurrying out the door.
So, if you're looking for a meal before a nearby show, I'd recommend this place in a second. If you're looking for solid cocktails once the curtains go down, I'd recommend this place, too. We'll certainly be back...whether its showtime or just because...Six Penn is a winner!
