I found Dr. Salem after a string of bad dental experiences, and my first appointment was for a root canal another dentist had recommended. He was happy to schedule the root canal sight-unseen and just took a few minutes to confirm the diagnosis before he got started.
I am one of those people who freak out at the dentist's office. I may not be in any pain and it's not a fear, it's just anxiety. Dr. Salem and the hygienist (whose name I have forgotten) were conscious to do whatever I needed to be as comfortable as possible. I have seen him again twice since the root canal, and the experience goes as well as I could hope a dental appointment could. I'll definitely continue to see him as my regular dentist.
