Recently moved out of The Villages at Lake Wylie before the end of my lease (paid the final two months) because of security/safety problems. There were serious issues with a tenant in my building. Sheriff Department made several visits. The Villages were made aware of the situation from contact with Sheriffs and many tenants. Tenants were told there was nothing the apartment office could do. If I spoke to one person in the office, they would tell me to talk to someone else and on and on it went. The office would tell me they needed to talk to upper management and would get back to me, but days would go by with no return call. I ultimately had to realize that it was not worth my personal safety to stay.
