I want to like this place! I come in about once a month with my parents who live in the area. The place is cute. Super comfy bar stools & high tops! The most amazing chalkboard as a focal point. Nice patio and open air bar. Not sure what the food/vibe they are gong for... Local bar? Cafe? Restaurant? Awesome cocktails! Odd mix of food and a slightly limited menu... But I still dig it and want to really like it!
The service is a little choppy but they are really nice.. Always!
The pizza is amazing! Like really really good. But I always try something else... Pot pie was underwhelming and lacking enough meat, Caesar salad was solid, Cobb salad was good but the turkey was just sliced deli turkey piled on top (presentation?). Green chile mac was awesome! Wings were different and cooked well. I ordered the brussel sprouts hash. And this is a dish I make at home and love... And I was pretty disappointed with this one. So much garlic it was actually spicy, I could see the red onions but couldn't taste them over the garlic. And I love garlic but this was a clear miss. Bummer. Please chef! Taste your food! Think browned butter and bacon with the shaved sprouts! Think less garlic...
