I am changing my review...I have heard that you should not judge a business on their mistakes, rather on what the company does about the mistakes. After writing this review I received two voice mails AND an email to be sure that I contacted First Credit Union about my experience with "After hours Customer Service" "They (First CU of Tempe AZ) seemed sincere in their apology about my experience, and assured me that the concerns with the quality of the "after hours customer service" calls would be addressed....I belive them...so I am changing my review to four maybe five stars...for the following reasons: 1) I have been a memeber since 1994 and lived in eight US States since opening my account...they have worked with me regardless of where I lived including a preapproval of a possible home mortgage and a car loan 2) First CU has worked with me to repay a studen loan (Line of credit) while I was sick and unemployed 3) If you do reach a First Credit Union member, and not an after hours person, they respond accurately, friendly and professionally sooo maybe I was too harsh with the prior review....their phones are busy.....if you get an after hours person, I would encourage you to request to be transferred to First CU Employee.
