The Plaza Hotel & Casino is a casino-hotel located in downtown Las Vegas, Nevada owned by the Tamares Group, and PlayLV is the leaseholder and operator of the property. Tamares has put Jonathan Jossel in charge of Plaza. Jossel has no experience in casino, hotels, or customer service. I returned to Plaza as a player after they remodeled. I found so many issues. At first the GM Michael A. Pergolini welcomed my input but never did nothing. Jossel also welcomed my input but did not like too many complaints. So, they made a decision, YOU CAN PLAY HERE BUT NOT STAY HERE. Wow that is absurd.
Here are a few issues I had at Plaza during stays:
1. I have waited as long as 30 minutes with no answer by phone from my room to front desk. Their comment: we are not MGM.
2. Had DO NOT DISTURN on the door the maid opened the door while I was asleep without knocking. Their response: MUST PUT THE BOLT ON.
3. The spent millions to remodel but did not change the 45 year old bathroom fans that are so noisy and irritating.
4. The hallways are not safe at night. I have confronted safety issues
5. Most irons in the room have burned substance on them.
6. It can take over 15 minutes to reach an phone operator that is leased and miles away with no knowledge of Plaza.
7. Noisy airconditioners.
8. Maids will not clean your room claim DD sign on the door.
So many others. And the casino that is different story.
I do not recommend this Hotel or Casino to anyone.
