I give 43 North a solid four stars because I was impressed and quite happy with my meal, but there were a few pieces of my experience that I didn't love. Pros: - Fantastic food all around. We ate the lobster bisque, salmon tartare, beet salad (Dwight would be proud), wagyu beef, scallops and nougat. - The wilted kale with the scallop dish was wonderful. I didn't know kale could actually taste that good! - Presentation of the food was gorgeous. - Trendy, cool atmosphere. I like the dark purple booths. - We received little pre-wrapped cinnamon coffee cake slices with our bill. What a cute idea, and the cake was wonderful! Cons: - Our server was prompt and professional but not warm and friendly. - While I enjoyed the salmon tartar, I was expecting more seasoning on the salmon itself. It was bland yet tasted great with the salty crackers. I understand they should be eaten together, but I personally prefer every piece of the dish be seasoned. - I would have liked the nougat dessert to have been sweeter. I have a major sweet tooth, though, so maybe this is just me being picky. I enjoyed my experience at 43 North and would recommend others at least give it a shot.
