The building is fine and well-maintained (45 yrs old), the location is nice (relatively quiet neighborhood, very close to the metroparks), and the rent isn't that expensive (we have a 2br for $800-$900/mo). All pluses.
The thing that sells me on 200 West is the staff. If we ever have any questions, they get back to us THAT DAY. If we need maintenance on the apartment, it's almost always done within 24 hours. I can't express enough how great it is to have staff that you're able to get a hold of when you need them. The building is family-owned and I think that makes all the difference in the world.
