I went to watch John Prine and Iris DeMent on a Thursday night. I usually do not go to concerts on weeknights because my wife and I have day jobs. This experience only reinforces my practice of avoiding weeknight concerts. For starters, the concert did not start until 8:00 PM. Iris sang until 9:00 PM when they shifted from Iris to John Prine. Problem was that the could not or did not remove Iris' piano for 30 minutes. So, we had an unplanned 30 minute delay. It was past 9:30 PM when John Prine finally appeared. He sang until 11:00 PM when Iris joined him. We stayed until 11:15 PM and had to leave to be home before midnight. We missed most of John Prine and Iris singing together which was the primary reason for us attending. I agree with other comments about drinks being excessively high priced. It is a smaller venue that you may call charming in its 1970's style or outdated depending on how you look at it.
