I don't think anyone enjoys hearing that a store is headed for bankruptcy, but I have to think that part of the reason is that it's hard to actually buy anything at Boston Store. I walked by no fewer than 6 register stations that were completely unattended and dark. Asked a clerk at one of the jewelry stands for help, and her response was that you just needed to keep looking for someone to help you. I don't blame her, it must be really frustrating to work there, but it's equally as frustrating to try to shop there.
