Trax farms is such an awesome place that is not too far from the city and south hills area. They have so many events through out the year and it is a great place to take the family around for the holidays.
My favorite time is to go in the fall for the pumpkin patch and fall activities. They do such a nice job and the pick your own pumpkin is so much fun. I would go earlier in October though because the later in the season you go the less selection of pumpkins there are.
They have a beautiful gift shop, and grocery store. Their food and baked goods are delicious.
