Short, but sweet, Lost Creek is a rocky trail that led us to a lovely waterfall. The trail is easy to follow with a boardwalk to cross at the start which was built to protect the riparian habitat (habitat associated with water). We could hear the flowing water as soon as we started hiking towards the waterfall. I'm not sure that there is this much water on a normal basis, but it could be due to the rains we've had in the past couple of months. The trail itself is fairly rocky and has several stone stairs to assist you with the elevated portions. We had to cross a stream at one point, but there were protruding rocks to step upon and we managed to avoid getting our feet wet; just beware if balance or stepping in water is an issue for you. In no time we arrived at the waterfall and while it's not a huge one, it is still a cool sight to see.
